Hazel Mutch

I am employed part-time as a university counsellor alongside my work in private practice. I have also worked in two north-west charities with adults, and as a therapist with young people  for Barnardo’s, YPAS, and in secondary school settings.  I am a member of the BACP having qualified in integrative psychotherapy at postgraduate level, training which allows me to adapt my practice to suit the needs of the individual. I have a particular interest in the links between creativity and wellbeing, especially the uses of writing in therapy, and run workshops in this field. Currently I am undertaking additional training in Internal Family Systems Therapy which recognises how the hurt and protective parts of our psyche influence us daily. It is also a model which reflects my belief that we have within us the necessary qualities which bring healing and change.
